Keith Barker

I have fond memories of NHS. I am very happy that I participated in athletics, band and student government. It's difficult to feel connected if, as a student, you failed to take advantage of those opportunities. I really appreciate the fine education we were afforded in Kansas and specifically at North High. It's not the same in other regions of the country.

After high school I attended and received a BA in Urban Studies from WSU. I Moved to Atlanta, GA in 1980 after 1 semester of Grad School. Completed a Master's of Public Administration degree after getting married and having two kids. My passion is public service. I have been blessed to hold various administrative and executive positions in State and Local government and higher education spanning a 34 year career.

My proudest accomplishment has been marrying my beautiful wife, who is my best friend and together raising two wonderful children who are starting their own professional careers.
