I departed Wichita for Oklahoma in 1981 and lived there until 1988, when I moved to Southern California. I've worked at public libraries in Oklahoma City and Los Angeles, as well as a law firm in LA. I married Robin in 1998. Since 2000, I've been at Oxnard College in Ventura County. That was also the year I became a Dad.

Looking ahead to May 2024: when I retire! It's time. I plan to come to our 50th reunion and hope to see many of you there.

School Story

I was a baritone horn and trombone player in band, orchestra and stage band all those years ago. Lots of great memories with Mr. Willis, our instrumental music teacher. One special, kinda odd one: getting 1, 2 and 3 (i.e., A, B, C) ratings from band contest judges in two succeeding years. That one always baffled us. I've taken up the 'bone a bit again lately...lots to relearn.

Lookin’ Good, Tom! I was just thinking of Berle Willis, our band teacher. He was always telling us we couldn’t hear with mouths open. Ha!
